While in Texas we did what the Texans do-that is, we did what tourists in Texas would do. At County Line Barbeque we ate some of the best tasting (and largest portions) of BBQ around. At Acenar, an upscale Mexican restaurant located on the Riverwalk, we were treated to guacamole made tableside and drinks infused with prickly pear cactus. We marveled at the famed Spanish-Colonial architecture that lines the city streets. And under the hot sun, we walked the hallowed ground of the
Alamo and learned of the brave men who fought and fell in the name of freedom. Click through our photo gallery to see San Antonio through our eyes!
