A dozen boys and girls spent a week participating in the Shining Stars Adapted Dance Camp in West Chester, PA, this summer. They danced, stretched and played at Diane Matthews School of Dance Arts under the guidance of special volunteer coaches and dance educators from West Chester University. The camp was formed two years ago by Carla Zajac. It honors the memory of her daughter Sammy, who danced despite having cerebral palsy.
