Over three informational sessions, PT students at Widener University, Chester, PA, imparted practical tips and tools for maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regimen to participants in The Achievement Project, a nonprofit organization that helps Chester students grow and succeed in grades 9-12.
This initiative falls under the Institute for Physical Therapy Education's annual community health and wellness project. For years, Widener physical therapy graduate students have divided into small groups to embark on yearlong projects to address a unique challenge presented by a community organization.
