To showcase activities available for people with disabilities, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital's Wheelchair Sports program hosted an Adaptive Sports & Recreation Day on May 22.
Held at Temple University in Philadelphia, the event featured a variety of sports, including scuba diving, kayaking, power soccer, handcycling, wheelchair rugby and martial arts.
Supporting sponsors for the Adaptive Sport & Recreation Day also included Temple University's Student Affairs Department, the Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports, the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
