This maybe a good form for road cycling but not so good for mountain biking. The form described would be better suited for climbing a less than 8% grade but anything else of a climb your trunk to hip angle is going to be more. I am a physical therapist that works in the TCU/Rehab area in northern CA. I am also an avid mountain biker and racer. Among our staff are a few that are new to mountain biking and the correct form to save their joints and back would be greatly appreciated as my riding posture changes a lot depending on the terrain or incline/decline and is atypical to a beginner.

Hello Ana, we appreciate your interest in ADVANCE and think it's great that we have readers in South America. But I'm sorry there are currently no plans to create a Spanish version of this page.

Hi, My name is Ana Herrera and I am a physical Therapist at Lima,Peru. I enjoy your magazine and frequently share your articles (I translate them) with colleagues at our rehab dept.
This article about Bike Fitting is very much interesting.
Do you plan to create an spanish version? That would be awesome for Latinamerica.
